Dropping the top and cover on their new ‘vert.

heavier and less HP

doenst make sense unless for just marketing purposes they want to stagger each model powerwise .... like vert < coupe < nismo

I want to see how well the 370Z transitions to a soft top; most cars do not look as good as their hardtop brethren.

Could depend on the source of the information. I think in Europe the coupe is rated at 327 as well. It makes no sense that that engine, intake, exhaust would be any different.

Yes, the Euro spec coupe is also rated at 327. See -> Pistonheads review of 370Z

Porsche still relies on soft top. I think they may have one hardtop vert.
