Ideas please....
Just got a $100 gift certificate for being a go getter at work. What to get for the 370... All I currently have is tinted windows, K&N drop in's and GTR start
button.. Let's hear em... |
I personally love the rear fog lamp. I got my Nissan OEM fog lamp for around 60-80 bucks. It's not that expensive, although to get an OEM switch, you'll end up paying a few hundy.

I like the fog lamp idea.
|
Ditto on the fog lamp (I have the EVO-R model and really like it), or an aftermarket shift knob.
|
Is there a specific fog lamp people have been installing? Or is everyone going for OEM.
|
Nm, I found what I was looking for http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...p-install.html
|
Yeah, I really like the fog lamp idea as well.. Keep em coming guys..
|
$33 worth of Amsoil, $33 worth of Royal Purple, and $34 worth of Redline oils. Mix them all together and have an oil that will last 50,000 miles, actually reverses the wear on your engine, and adds in excess of 50 RWHP.
|
hummm... how much were those intake tubes again? maybe those to accomondate your drop-ins?
if not, definitely consider the rear fog lamp. :) |

I'd save it for the next time you fill up gas... hopefully it'll still get you a full tank lol

I vote for rear fog light or spacers. Also, two tanks of gas and a weekend of driving somewhere. |
Ok, I'm going to go ahead and get the rear foglight.. Any recommendations on where to get.. I know Z1 has them, but who else ?

hear out this idea for your 100$ i you are married, get your wife something nice. If you are in a long term committed relationship get her something nice. Then later on, you can get your 1500 Exhaust or 600$ intake and she shouldnt complain! |
ummm been married for a while... $100 will not get much of anything other than flowers... flowers are definitely nice, but we just passed v-day a few weeks ago...
when you say nice for the wife wat do you mean? cause my wife loves handbags and those things are not cheap at all... :icon14: take her out for dinner? 100 will net you a decent meal but a nice dinner enough for her to buy a 1500 exhaust? :D hahahahaahahahahahahha. hahhaahahhaa.... hahahaBLAHHAHAHAHAAHA!!!! ;) jk stick with the foglamp. :D |

last month so, I think I will be fine getting the foglight.. I already have a plan for the exhaust, I'm going to get it shipped to my job and bring it to my friends house and install it over there. When she notices that the car is a lot louder, I will say I just got some new mufflers.. She will prob be like oh cool and just walk off.. She has no idea about cars, she was asking me what the tea kettle light was on her dash when her car was low on oil when we first started dating.. LOL... |
rockstar- kinda like my situation. my wife didnt even know i had a Z for a while. :D my garage (cave) is like my bedroom and she doesn't go in there as much as i dont go into her study's closet with her collection of computer and networking stuff. :icon14:
i dont think she knows i have a new wheel set in there either... and all sorts of new tools. :p |

Alternate answers: Put it towards --- Smooth intake tubes (~$110 shipped) or ebay test pipes (~$125 shipped) |

Or save $100 a month for a year and get an F.I Exhaust (same price gets your a guided tour of kenchan's garage...better value. Take camera. Get spy shots of new wheels). |
I'm another one who really likes my illuminated scuff plates. Your $100 bonus, plus savings by bringing your lunch a couple of days, would do it---well worth it.

How about the LED interior/exterior kit? Nice LEDs for map lights, trunk light and license plate lights.
Oh, and a Simota1 sticker! |

Back when I used to date, $100 got me a LONG! ways. Most of the women I went for cared more about things I put some thought into or made than things I bought or paid to have done (Dinner at a resturant,etc.). I would buy a bottle of decent wine (decent to me is a good vintage in the $20-30 range, meaning not Yellowtail crap from Wal-Mart, lol) some candles, and cook supper and take her to a park and lay it all out for a midnight dinner if the weather was nice, and stuff like that. It cost all of $60 or so and a few hours of my time. Knew of a nice park where no druggies/hobos went, and was left unlocked/patrolled at night at the time. Meant more, spent less. The women loved it. |

well, you just answered your own dilemma. |
Update;
Decided to go with the rear fog light, I would of went with the intake tubes if they weren't on backorder and chose against the "cheap Y pipe" because of CBE plans really soon.. But thanks guys for all the excellent suggestions... |
glad to hear.
now time to buy some rocker switches with the money left over. check out the interior section, search 'rocker switches.' or something. |
