Infidel 05-18-2013 07:13 AM

Hell yes, however, instead of $17K down I would put $7K down and get FI. :happydance:

kenchan 05-18-2013 07:21 AM

I would. I'd get the dark colored nismo wheels next time for my silver (wasn't available at the time).

KERMIT 05-18-2013 07:27 AM

It has been a very fun car to own, I would have done it again... However the corvette c7 will likely change my opinion when it is out.

DLSTR 05-18-2013 08:44 AM

Would you buy again?---

No question. The 370Z represents amazing capability for the money. Love it. You can spend more and get much less.

2010ZilverZ 05-18-2013 08:45 AM

Yes I'd buy again no doubt

snowhite370 05-18-2013 08:47 AM

Without a doubt

DCNISMO 05-18-2013 08:54 AM

You will miss the power and torque of the R/T Challenger, but you will get much better handling and more exclusivity, You may miss the bigger trunk space and having the ability to have extra people, a dog, or trips to home depot to get stuff. Its tradeoffs, I had a modded Nismo and missed those things, so I got a used V. Given extra garage space I would have kept the Nismo for solo weekend backroad romps.

Nut_N_Much 05-18-2013 09:07 AM

Yes !!!

If I had to do it all over I'd still get the Z. Great little car. My next car will probably not be a Z but that's only because I don't buy the same model car twice in a row (unless it's classic Mustangs).

Jasonle 05-18-2013 09:25 AM

yes sir!

ElVee 05-18-2013 09:49 AM

I've only had mine a month, but the answer would be yes! Given another chance, I might look closer at the roadster, but probably not. :)

NickTurnon 05-18-2013 09:54 AM

Your posting on "The370z.com" ....We are all gunna tell you to get a Z.

Anyways, coming from a charger r/t to a 370z, I felt the lack of a few things that I loved about the charger.

I loved it dropped from an 8cyl to a 4cyl and saved me gas. I got about 26mpg hwy in the r/t and I get about 28-30 in the Z hwy miles.

I loved the seats in my charger. Blackleather & suede. I also loved how big it was.

The Z will smoke the charger all day long. It will also drive better and handle better.

Its also around the same price. Pick up a used '11-12 370z with 20k miles on it for 20-23k and be done with it.

Use the rest of the money for mods.

:hello:hi guy!!

On topic: absolutely. One year later and i love it as much as i did when i drove it off the lot for the first time. Shadoquad told me that feeling wouldn't diminish and e was right. Love my Z. That is all. :)

GaleForce 05-18-2013 10:27 AM

My Z makes me tingly in the frontal groin region. It also has a pucker factor that is proportional to the boost its making.

Yes, I would buy another.

axmea? 05-18-2013 10:36 AM

I would get a 370 vert the 2nd time around and dress it up nicely as well. Low slung, make it loud, wide wheels, and in either PG or black all the way around. In far far 2nd is a Z4 M vert.

Fountainhead 05-18-2013 10:39 AM

I would get another one without hesitation.
It's a very enjoyable, moddable car.
I raise the hood every weekend and just stare at the engine, admiring it's lovely lines and compactness.
Fun to drive, fun to mod, sexy to look at too.
Win win win.

Now I want a red one, didn't get a black one I've had a black car already it's lots of work.

stretcho 05-18-2013 11:02 AM

I'd buy the 2012 370Z again.

Streetlife 05-18-2013 11:36 AM

No doubt i would! Even the amount of time i waited for mine to arrive after ordering her, Nissan was dead on point with the production time of my order and delivery! Plus, mods, the JDM market is the best!:happydance:

Felix 808 05-18-2013 11:40 AM

Yes, I would buy the Z again, in fact the same model trim & color again. When looking I really liked the style of the 370z & once I got inside I fell in love with the cockpit & the rawness (some say it's noisy) of the car. While not the fastest or most powerful car, I was looking for a car that I liked the styling, feel & handling. I spend 90% of my miles in the canyons as the Z is not my daily driver.

If you are looking for straight-line speed & power, or cargo capacity (more than 2 people & 1 large suitcase) you might be a little disappointed, but if it's style & feel your looking for, the 370z should keep you smiling for a long time.

YMMV http://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/drivingskid.gif

.

Anyone else do a double take on this? Where did Nick get a 4 cyl Z from?!?!? :roflpuke2:

But yes, I would in a heart beat. Actually I almost got t-boned the other night and first thing I thought about was what color would I get the Z in this 2nd time around? lol. I LOVE my PW but so hard to keep clean. But I would probaly go PW again and I would probably try to stay in a 2012 or older just because the new front DRL's still havent impressed me.

I think he's talking about his challenger. I think the engine shuts off cylinders when it doesn't need it.

That's the way I read it. But looking at the comment again, I suppose it could go either way. If I cared enough, I'd Google it. :)

RoshDawg 05-18-2013 02:45 PM

Yes! Most likely go the Nismo route, but the recent price increase is uncalled for!

7419sundat 05-18-2013 02:48 PM

I love my Z! But... I want a street king and in my tt 370z I've already gotten beat a paxton 2200 mustang 5.0. Lol I want a supra lmao.

Nailzs 05-18-2013 02:57 PM

Yes I would :happydance:

XiP 05-18-2013 02:58 PM

No, if I buy another fun car it'll most likely be a GTR

Z_ealot 05-18-2013 03:19 PM

would definitely do it over again and already am although they no longer make monterey blue anymore i still like the midnight blue that replaced it and after test driving one of the 13's i was impressed with the way the clutch seemed smoother and the new shocks made it that much more comfortable so i am now awaiting my new Z's delivery at the end of july with much anxiety :D

RiCharlie 05-19-2013 07:08 AM

Yes I would do it all over again .,. I still enjoy it every day!

rebe945 05-19-2013 07:55 AM

If you guys had to do it over again should you get the 370z again?? if not why not?

Yes I would.

I accidentally got between two cars, I believe road racing. Lead car was a Lexus 350. I was driving and they were racing. I needed little to no brakes on a winding road while they were fully engaged. If I was racing too, then the Lexus should have been blue flagged.

The is350 is no Z by a long shot.

I am off to the track today, so I can race legally and sanely.

shadoquad 05-19-2013 10:34 AM

I had a do over and bought a used z06, but I loved my Z

MJB 05-19-2013 10:39 AM

I really like my Z, but my user title says it all.

Tribalpinoy91 05-19-2013 10:54 AM

Maybe a cts coupe

alvitdk 05-19-2013 08:57 PM

Also the thin, delicate paint on this not inexpensive car angers me. For those reasons, it's a close call. I might go with the new Mustang instead.

I felt the same way about the ride and noise. Being an old guy myself I found the car to be overly "twitchy", noisey and it rode as if it had wooden tires. The first thing I did this year was put on a set of Michelin AS +. The difference is night and day. I don't drive her that hard so do not notice any performance difference, but the ride is about 50% quieter, it's smooth as glass, and I don't need to fear road imperfections or expansion joints anymore. Now I'd probably get another....last year I would not have.

fxroar 05-19-2013 10:09 PM

Simple. I did. Red base to 40th. End of story.

Tigger 05-19-2013 10:25 PM

Absolutely. Haven't had mine long but since I love it more and more every single day I have it, I can only be led to believe that this would be an absolute yes.

Zoren 370 05-19-2013 10:28 PM

No doubt!!! I'll hit it one more time.
