370Z: Daily Driver or Weekend Car?

There is some truth to what you say but I've had a different experience.

Most of my life I've had only one vehicle (there is only one of me after all) and since my "one" vehicle has usually been something I care a lot about I spend a LOT of time trying it keep it looking as clean as possible...after a rain or whatever I was usually out there washing it the moment the rain had stopped.

However, for quite a while now I've had at least two vehicles (at the moment I have a 370Z Touring Roadster and a Murano...the Murano is my DD). This allows me to keep my Z in the garage and keeps it relatively clean. With this set-up; I've found that I actually spend less time overall "cleaning" my vehicles.

I still try to keep my Murano clean but (and I hate to confess this) I use a car wash that does a pretty good job on the exterior and has free vacuums. I would never put my Z or any vehicle I had an emotional investment in through a mechanical car wash.
