Weekend car, occassional track use. My car is boosted so I'd prefer to keep the miles low. But the main reason is that with only two seats, I can't take the kids to daycare...

kenchan 02-13-2012 04:08 PM

didnt we have a similar thread a while back? not sure...

weekend car for me.

ZMan8 02-13-2012 04:12 PM

Weekend car & sleeping beauty in the garage during Nov.- March

Vertigo 02-13-2012 04:15 PM

nmjaxx9 02-13-2012 04:28 PM

SPOHN 02-13-2012 04:33 PM

It's when ever I want car. About every other weekend and track car.

gurneyeagle 02-13-2012 04:45 PM

Daily driver with a 15 mile round trip commute per day. I've got the Vampire Edition - Leave before dawn, park in a covered garage, and rarely leave before sunset.

dAvenue 02-13-2012 04:59 PM

Weekend car for me.

My Jeep gets DD duty.

takjak2 02-13-2012 05:33 PM

Daily, plus autox, plus track, plus roadtrip to track.

Just makes you want to drive.

alcheng 02-13-2012 05:34 PM

DD when weather/road condition permitted

Urbanracer 02-13-2012 05:35 PM

Weekend and some times after work. I have a maxima that takes care of the daily driver duties.

heebus 02-13-2012 05:52 PM

Nismo DD, the weather here is never bad enough to not drive.

Felix 808 02-14-2012 12:22 AM

Unfortunately it has been a once or twice a month car  Just haven't had much time to spend with it other than go out in the garage & peak under the blanket every other day or so.

MUST 02-14-2012 12:28 AM

DD, until my s30 build is completed...

pL4tiNumfi5t 02-14-2012 12:35 AM

DD, put 9.5k on it my first year. Toyota Tacoma as my backup/utility.

LakeShow 02-14-2012 12:59 AM

DD for the most part. NY winters are so shady.

Ahh that must be fun, the s30 build I mean =]

Jasonle 02-14-2012 06:25 AM

DD for now. Soon I need to find another DD..gas saver and something 4 door.

One_Quick_Z 02-14-2012 06:35 AM

Mine gets driven from the end of March to late November, But not in the rain so I would say Garaged and Weekend plus Track :)

All of the above.

mantella87 02-14-2012 08:22 AM

Drive the Z every day or you will die sad and cold.

Highway 02-14-2012 08:44 AM

I drive my Z when the weather permits. It has only been out 1 day in the last 3 months.

BigT 02-14-2012 08:48 AM

It doesn't get driven to work/gym/errands and absolutely not in snow or bad weather in general. However, if the weather is nice, I will take it out any time.

RRonin 02-14-2012 09:10 AM

Definitely a DD, my commute is roughly 90 miles round trip + whatever fun I can throw in. ;)

Mt Tam I am 02-14-2012 09:21 AM

DD all year round.

Zeuz 02-14-2012 09:30 AM

My Weekend warrior !!! Have my lifted F-250 as my DD !!

TheGreatOne 02-14-2012 10:07 AM

My DD unless its winter, then its stored

Work commute is about 8km lol, give or take if I park near work or in a residential area close to the train station.

I'll get groceries in her, go to the gym, Home Depot, everything I possibly can. She was made to be driven and seen.

With the kid now, I think my Z will get left home more often but the wife did say when we go to the burbs for family gatherings (shes Italian so this is like every weekend lol) once in a while I can just follow in my Z too...or I'll be sure to be somewhere else before hand so I have to drive over solo ;)

whoady4shoady 02-14-2012 11:20 AM

20 mile round trip daily.

DD

Daily Driver. My Z hauls groceries. And kitty litter (that actually helps in the snow...). And lumber from Home Depot. :icon23:

Where I live, we get perhaps 10 days of meaningful winter weather (ice or >6" of snow) a year. My commute is only a couple of miles through city streets. So long as it's not icy and the snow isn't deeper than the front lip, I can manage, carefully.

If it's much worse than that, I just work from home. Or my wife can drop me off on her way to work. I've yet to meet a snowdrift that her Outback can't plow through or over. ;)

DarkJak 02-14-2012 03:25 PM

Daily driver in the sun only, when I'm at home. When I'm gone, it's a garage queen. I don't trust anyone else driving it haha.

yellogixxer 02-14-2012 08:10 PM

My commute is 130 miles round trip minimum, so I only drive it once or twice per week when the weather is nice. We do many long, multi state trips during the year, so the miles will pile on quickly come spring. DD is a 2003 Honda Accord with 343k and counting.

sonic370 02-14-2012 08:30 PM

DD drive it everywhere no snow in my part of Texas. She stays in the garage
at night. So a garage kept DD.

mayday813 02-14-2012 09:37 PM

DD rain or shine including snow (w/snow tires). I didn't buy it to look at it! Had it a year and put 13K miles on it. Great fun to drive and it gets looks all the time!

garage kept is the best, no worries about your car being vandalized and/or stolen.

KORRUPT 02-15-2012 07:03 PM

Daily driver through all four seasons. Pay for it may as well enjoy it.

Drex 02-15-2012 11:58 PM

DD, only vehicle. 13 mi round trip work commute daily

christian370z 02-16-2012 01:05 PM

Daily driver, however I don't put many miles on it (just passed 7,000 this weekend). If I had a real DD, I would be perfectly happy making the Z into a fair weather car or a weekend car.

dennis26 02-16-2012 07:56 PM

Daily driver, 50 mile round trip comute.

864Zbeast 02-16-2012 08:01 PM

Daily driver and garage kept.

gr8ness97 02-16-2012 11:17 PM

Weekender for me, garage kept too.
