I don't know why everyone is knocking the price, that sound about right for Touring + Nav in your area. It's a good deal, and not a great one per se, but I don't think there is anything wrong with it if it is what you want.

Carmax offered me 29.7 for mine with 4k miles, so I don't think you'd be doing too bad on that buy, again presuming the T+S is what you want.

You could get a used base or base + sport for that price though.

Also, depending on what your winter driving plans are, you may want to look at something better suited for year round driving.

Ah i see, but still that was starting price, i think i could maybe get it down another 1-2k, but a year round round car?
I do have one other car under my list to look at, happens to be a Evo X, one reason i dont really want to buy it is the warranty is horrible compared to Nissan's, and the car itslef is pretty high maintenance, is it the same on the Z too maintence wise?

I think you should be able to get a good price for the car, I'd work to get it at 28k.

As far as maintenance, it depends on what you are used to. I don't think the Z is that bad, but the EVO isn't much worse.
I'd also take a look at the STI, or the WRX if maintenance is more of a concern. Not that you couldn't drive the Z year round, I just wouldn't want to, both from a safety and a car-care perspective. Subaru's warranty is pretty solid as well.

ah I see, Yeah i understand why people wouldnt drive it in the winter, especially since over at NYC the winters now the snow are getting much heavier and much more frequent.

I def would take a look into the STI, esp the new 4 door sedans
Stock for stock im guessing Subaru warranty is better, since i plan on modding down the road for either car
