Will it require Nissan Ester Batteries?
(Just joking.) |

What are you guys smoking? I think that looks hot!. The Nissan designers must have gotten together with the Mazda designers on this one. It has similar lines to some of the Mazda concept cars.
Supposedly it will have a 150 mile range. Still, it will lack two important sports car features gears and an exhaust note |

i think the younger you are, the more likely you are going to like that concept. and don't knock on the EV aspect, at least that's innovation.... who wants a car that does what others have done in the past?
|
It is an impending reality. We all know that Nissan is trying very hard to get ahead of the green curve and reinvent the brand in a green image... so it only makes sense that the next generation Z will be a little plug-in.

I hope I never get to the point where the only car I own is electric. I always want to have at least one "gas guzzler". Even if it means getting scowled at and dirty looks while driving around town. The future is going to suck. :(

If I were to judge it on styling, I would say it's not bad. Looks as though they have provided some battery cooling by running ducting from the front through the chassis to exit out of the rear. I like that wheels are located to their farthest points both front and rear (I have never been a big fan of nose-draggers). Of course, this is concept drawing and the final will most likely be nothing like the drawing.
The future will be best if there is more mass transit and less personal vehicles. |

I would never do the mass transit thing... I like my freedom of transportation. |
