The people that keep their factory wipers get shunned, and there are huge flame wars about wiper brand. |
I modded mine only b/c I got bored looking at it and it needed some flash.

I think it's awesome to see how far people push their Z even though mine is nearly stock. You get ideas through innovation. Basically what I mean is you can take bits and pieces of what other people have done through their builds and then apply to your specific needs.

I wasn't aware that staying stock was an option. At least that was the message that came through loud and clear when I received a letter in ransom note style (glued letters of different sizes and fonts) that said: "Mod your Z or else!"

I just figured I'd stop in and say "Hello" to all the other non-stock people hanging out here. We've turned this thread into a party!

Umm, it's stock in my avatar! Does that count??
Otherwise, I'm mostly stock. You hear me Nissan of North America, I AM STOCK. |

Nah, my stock car is in perfect working condition..

Thats why I bought a Nismo. No mods necessary ....other than intakes, real OS Giken LSD, High flow cats, SPC Adjustable arms, lightweight wheels, upgraded brake pads, GTM Oilcooler , stainless steel lines, Motul fluids, ....DOH! :owned:

I wanted to stay stock as well. But this forum is like a disease and caused me to change my mind. Received my second email from Z1 about an intake yesterday...:eekdance:

lol not that im against people with heavily modified cars but I like to keep my car stock. The car last longer and its the best for the car. Stock all the way baby! okay....maybe I might put some minor parts like LED lights or rims

fries with that?....
Modding your car is like garnishing your hamburger. Not everyone likes the same thing.. some people hate ketchup, some hate mustard etc.
Nissan gives you a tasty flame broiled burger and a decent bun and says, "have at her!' I for one prefer my car modded to my personal tastes and see no issue with that. Much as others have modded their cars to their personal tastes. As for bone stock.... that's like having just enough money for the hamburger but not enough for cheese, pickles, relish, mustard and ketchup. And don't forget the lettuce and tomatoes! And then saying your happy with your plain burger when you know you really wouldn't mind a few condiments.... :twocents: |
