It took me a second to get the joke. Very funny.

You stepped it up a notch or two I see. Good job. When I saw VW I thought this guy must have lost his job or something. I am glad this is not the case. What did Porsche figure the trade in value of your Z?

I seriously considered the Gayman due to the mid-engine layout. A Napa Valley man bought the car I wanted. The "new" Cockster sold out for 2011.

Porsche did not buy my car; the Nissan dealer did. 26k miles, base, Stick, blk, Rays, aero package, needs tires frt/rear: $22,500. As a reference, Carmax offer was $21,000.

how does that work?
you took the car to the nissan dealer and asked them if they would buy it?
i always traded my cars to the dealers where I bought my new cars. this is probably not a good practice.
thanks.

Yes. I walked back to the Nissan dealer and told them, "I think I just bought a Porsche. Would you guys want to buy my car which is currently being serviced?" They paged the Manager. The Manager basically went to the service area, checked out my car and said, "Yes, I will buy your car but I must keep your Rays."

Now, as a reminder, Porsche said that they would end up going to Nissan anyways to get an appraisal.

I think it's all a conspiracy!!

That is a great quote - classic. Grats on the P-car! While I love the Cayman, I think I could live with the "VW" configuration of the 911 a little more - perfect DD/grand tourer.

. I don't want to sound like a proud Dad but I just love being able to actively switch the suspension and sports mode on the fly.

I do hate the key. Porsche should have followed the Z's key fob design.

Yeah, I don't even think about the Cayman anymore.

I am seriously thinking of buying a Zed and test drove an auto today. I curently drive a 6sp manual MX5. I thought the zed was great and VERY easy to drive, so your comment that you got tired of pointing the Zed around corners sounds like crap to me and I beleive you never had a ZED and that you are probably around 16 years of age. How can anyone say driving a ZED is hard? Maybe you should go for a Prius when you old enough!
