Anyone want a dog?

So as of last friday my car has been sitting in the garage because family came into town and are blocking the driveway. So yesterday i had to go back to work, i leave at 6:20am ish so it was still dark, after getting home i happen to walk by the front of my car and was like SOB!!!!!! my dog went into the garage at some point over that time span and decided it would try and dig a hole through both sides of my front bumper. So once again, does anyone want a dog? haha

m4a1mustang 12-28-2010 08:25 AM

Wait... dog tried to eat the car? Pics?

Jessobear 12-28-2010 08:28 AM

People always ask me why I don't like dogs. I should bookmark this thread.

murphman 12-28-2010 08:48 AM

I will try and take pics when i get home today, as much as i hate Nissan paint & clear it may have actually held up i acutally think i might be able to get this buffed out because as i ran my hand over it i could not feel the scratches so im hoping for the best but i will say that it looks absolutely terrible and when i say both sides of the bumper i pretty much mean the entire bumper. thats why i didnt post this last night because i was livid.

Dang. I have a long, single car wide driveway that goes from the street to the garage behind the house. My parents came to visit the first time to this house a few years ago. They got to park in the driveway that first time. Now they know they need to be on the street.

I must admit, one time a girl at work showed me a picture of her dog and my first comment was "Looks like it would field-dress out to about 6 to 7 pounds."

The underlying issues you speak of is that he is old as ****, the dog is 15 yrs old and eats dirt balls, paper, plastic, o and I can't forget his own hair. He has very bad vision and hearing but has the spirit and energy of a 3 yr old dog. He is pretty much a 95 yr old army vet. Nick swardson once said he couldn't wait till he got old because you can do whatever you want and its ok, like giving your grandson a box of poop for his birthday. Im starting to think this applies to dogs by the way he is acting. Will be headed home shorty and will take a pic

BrickyardZ 12-28-2010 06:01 PM

Eat the car. Eat the dog.

Eating dog is legal in 44 states! Just thought you ought to know.:stirthepot:

after looking again at all the scratches and not being as livid, the worst of the damage was around the lights. I'm thinking the dog didnt like the mean glare the Z gives....

anyways here are the pics of the Z and the mother f*cking culprit.

BrickyardZ 12-28-2010 07:26 PM

WOW, the dog scratched the h*## out of the car. I'm actually a dog lover, but I'd reconsider if my dog attacked my Z. Let us know what you plan to do for the damage and to the dog.

murphman 12-28-2010 07:34 PM

Nothing is going to happen to the dog lol he is old, ive slapped him multiple times while he slept and he didnt wake up. As for the Z i am getting a full detail of the car on monday " is going to take from about 9am to 4-6pm but i mentioned over the phone what happen and he was pretty sure it could be buffed out guess he will make that call on monday.

If any of you guys know detailing or someone on the boards that does can you please give some input on if you think this can be buffed out. When i run my hand over the scratches i cant feel the scratches so apparently no paint was taken off, thanks eveyone.

O and one more think i must add, the dog ****** me again. when i came home today the dog had a little diarrea going on and since he has long hair around his *** it pretty much became a giant dingle berry.... and someone has to clean it. F U DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

chuckd05 12-28-2010 08:43 PM

lmao thats hilarious. good luck with the detail , hopefully this guy is really good..

NewYorkJon34 12-28-2010 09:02 PM

SmoothZ 12-28-2010 09:34 PM

Maybe there was a rodent inside the car that the dog was trying to get at.

Maybe someone was under the car who was going to car your artery with a razor and the dog saved your life.

/\ maybe he scratched up the Z to get back at you for slapping him repeatedly in his sleep??? :happydance:

In all seriousness though, if you can run your fingernail over the scratch and not feel it, it'll buff out. Even if it catches a bit, you'll probably be able to get most of it out/invisible to the untrained eye with a good detail. Our Xterra had some pretty heinous scratches on the front left quarter panel and we got it detailed and 70% of it is gone now and those scratches were much deeper/worse than what you posted.

Lug 12-28-2010 10:27 PM

See that plastic tub next to the dog? Does it have an air tight sealable top? Problem solved!

ImportConvert 12-28-2010 10:39 PM

I still remember the pic a few years back of a pit locked in a garage with an S2000. It was pure epic.

Looks like an American Eskimo. I got one too.

Cool dogs, when the aren't systematically trying to eat your Z. Mine seems to be unusally attracted to my Z too. I don't leave her alone with the car, I think she's jealous of it.

Sorry to hear about your car. I showed the picture to my wife and told her, "that's why the dogs aren't allowed in the garage". She understands now.

Indeed. That dog seriously makes me want to hit the needle, and I most likely would if I didn't have a medical background and job. Meh. Knowledge takes the fun out of things sometimes, lol. Could be a monster on a D+Test. Instead, meet with new personal trainer in the morning to begin a slow, clean bulk to 190-200.
