What is the worst gas for performance, mileage, Cost?
I was intrigued by the previous thread of the best gas for performance, mileage, etc.
What are your experiences with poorly performing gas and who sold it to you? I know I will never ever use Gas sold from an ARCO, Costco, Safeway, or Fred Meyer. The last time I put ARCO gas in a car it knocked horribly. My fiancee's mom constantly puts ARCO or Safeway gas in her 2005 Camry LE and it always has a knock. Just for the sake of curiosity, we drove her car once and I filled it up with Chevron. Guess what? The knock disappeared...atleast for that tank.
