Worst Ticket you have ever got and result?

90 in a 55 (empty highway in NC) At the time i just got a ticket to appear in court. Hired a lawyer to go for me cause i was in the military and just couldn't take off for court. Apparently they weren't able to get it reduced cause a year later i got a letter from MI saying my license has been suspended for 90 days and that i had to pay like a 2k fine.

Also my insurance (Allstate at the time) gave me the boot and the only place i could find that would insure me was Progressive and of course my insurance went from like 90/month to 200/month

Yea it sucked. And i was young and stupid so i didnt really know any better either. The lawyer was like "ok we went to court all taken care of!" and it seemed that way cause it was literally about 9 months later that i finally got the letter from Michigan saying it was gonna be suspended and i owe all this money. I forget why they said i had to pay fines for.

But yea, the ticket since it was 20+ over was automatically counted as reckless driving which is a misdemeanor so i got screwed all over the place.

Since then i havent really sped more than 10 miles over. The fastest ive had the Z is to 90 and that was for like 5 seconds. Im to paranoid now.
