Caught via lidar doing 50 in a 35 leaving work by an angry female officer who had one of her index fingers bitten off by a junkie (lidar guns must not have triggers). It was my first time ever getting pulled over since getting my license (6 years) and she still gave me a ticket.
Saw the magistrate 6 months later and told him I wasn't speeding, and he let me go without asking a single question. Not a bad ticket, but the worst part was seeing all my coworkers drive by. It's been a year and the "pump your brakes, Speed Racer!" jokes haven't stopped.
