Adding the cold air (cone filter) intake would help regardless of whether or not you change the exhaust. Obviously, they all work better in conjunction with each other, but it's not necessary. You SHOULD see a very noticeable gain in torque (as well as HP, but not as much) if you install one.
You shouldn't feel like you need to buy an exhaust to get the benefits of a cold air intake because you don't. You'll love its effects instantly, too. |
