Yeah, I could have fixed the AC in my WS6, re-painted the hood, and rocked on for less. That was the main reason I traded. Speed/looks/etc. mean absolutely zip to me in a DD. yea, that question kind of implies that you somehow didn't work for what you have. I feel like no matter what you would actually say, they would just hear 'i had a trust fund from my grandparents' or something along those lines. one of the guys on another forum i frequent (for a local car club) has some amazing cars, i think 10 or so, including a GTR (heavily modified with) and a Gallardo Superleggera. In his profile, under biography he has written: "Worked 22 hours/day for 12 years, now I am cruising through life at warp speeds enjoying my cars!" I think thats really cool, but i think when most people see someone driving around with a really high end car they think, 'oh that must have been given to them in one way or another. makes them feel better about themselves.

My statement to the guy in the gt-r was never meant as a put down on any level,to me, which he did'nt get i was remarking about how bad xxx i thought his car was.... he took it to a another level.... kinda now know why some guys won't wave back to you when you see them on the road. NOT ALL but

true. i only got about 5/8"of length increase and only about 3/8" of girth when buying my Z. Even with the manual transmission. I guess thats what you get for under 40k.
