Why not just buy a cheap beater and use that as your DD. That solves the room issue instantly and probably save you much more money than trading your car in.

Try this.... park it for a month and DON'T drive it. Borrow another car if you can or take transit/cabs. Not to get the feel of another car, but to see just HOW MUCH you will MISS the 370Z!

Then decide if you can live without it. I have gone three weeks now without being able to drive my Z and I have already chewed my left arm off to the shoulder... typing with one hand sucks.

:iagree: You don't want sellers remorse. I had a 350Z and sold it cuz I felt it was too small and not enough power. Got a vette which solved the not enough power bit and its a little bigger in the cargo area but then got rid of that. Bad choices. I should have kept the 350 or the vette and just bought a truck or something. That would of hauled anything around.

haha I fit perfectly..5'5'' 121lb :)

And says you can't fit anything into the Z? I climbed from the inside of the hatch into the drivers seat and back out through the hatch :roflpuke2: This was before I knew how to reprogram the windows

i agree, but in my case not for the 370z. I have sellers remorse about selling my supercharged cobalt..lol. I loved that 4 banger, so much fun to work on.

It's not going anywhere...

Now I feel ashamed that I thought about leaving it... :( I'm not worthy!

He wants to get rid of his, I just want mine to show up!

Nitrouz 12-03-2010 04:27 PM

I'm still looking for mine......trading a GTR for it too!

wilsonp 12-03-2010 05:16 PM

Good decision :)

Mine is a DD and it seems spacious to me, but after 10 years in a MR-2 and 10 years in an NSX, I'm used to it...

OTOH, my wife has a Jeep Grand Cherokee for the large purchases :D

I've had the car about a month and I have already been thinking about what else is out there. I'm not going to take anything away from the Z, I love the way it drives, I love how it sounds and it is such a sexy looking car...

BUT

DAMN it's small. I knew what I was getting myself into, but I totally under estimated the size when living with it on a day to day basis. I'm not a small guy, 6'3" 235lbs and it's kind of annoying getting in and out of the car, you can't put anything in it and it doesn't have back seats.

Again... I totally knew and accepted this when I bought the car, but I guess you'll always want what you can't have... right?

Is it just me? Is it buyers remorse? Am I crazy?

To make matters worse, I'm looking at an 09 STi to replace it with which is what was next in line before I bought this car.

I don't know what to do...!

NO clue why you bought the car in the first place! :shakes head:

sonic370 12-03-2010 07:24 PM

its only been a month spend some time with it. the car will grow on you fast.

i use mine as a DD no issues...i've had it six months hell no one has even sat in the passenger seat.....

i will admit when i traded my 350 in for the 370 driving home from the dealership i thought i had really messed up. but that passed when i fist red lined the car!!!!!!!! hooked for life.... plus i love the stares.... sorry can't help it.

what about an Xterra? New or used, I'm pretty sure you can get them cheaper and we love our Off Road X to death. (honestly, I love it as much as the Z). Our pup loves the X as well, got the slobber on the inside of the windows to prove it. :)

Oh, and to the OP, as someone else stated, dude, you are gonna take a beating on your trade in on the Z, that money lost could probably go a long way toward a reliable older dd...food for thought.
