i have a RX7FD , and the space inside is 60~70% smaller then my 40thZ.
im 6.1 200pounds.. the FD fits me well... the Z just makes it more better. |
or you could just get another car as a daily driver. Its a good thing I'm 5'5 160. I have to sit up and look over them huge *** mirrors when I'm at stop signs to see other cars. Some hot chick at the other stop sign saw me doing this and laughed as she drove off....:shakes head: feels bad man

I would really spend some time thinking about this. You have only had the car a month so you are probably going to lose your a$$ on a trade in (depending on what you got it for). As someone else mentioned you might be better off getting a DD. I have an old civic that I drive every day. It's good on gas, easy to maintain, and has plenty of room.

I'm 6'4" 200lbs and sometimes I have problems getting out, but only when people park right next to me out in the boonies for absolutely no reason what so ever. I have debated trading it in for an Evo or STI just for the four doors, however, the Z is a true sports car. Sure its harsh, small, and impractical, but at the end of the day it still gets my adrenaline going taking corners with VDC off. Evos and STIs are great because of the AWD, but the Z just has that "surprise" factor. I've had an AWD car, 2007 Audi S4, it was fun but not anything compared to the Z. Only do it if you need the room! Just my :twocents:

I felt like the Z worked pretty well as a DD. Ingress and egress may not be the easiest compared to a sedan but once you're in it's spacious and comfortable (that's what she said). The hatch is also pretty spacious so I never had issues with grocery shopping. I even went and bought a vacuum cleaner and it fit.

My DD for the past years and I love Zoe to death still.
Seen all the seasons. Not my fault if my friends don't have cars rofl. Fit em in the trunk! And also all these things your thinking of right now is something you should've thought about before buying it as your daily driver... If you do trade in you lost couple thousands already! Good luck! |

Mouse flavor FTW!

09 STI and remove the front seats. Gives you more room inside.

My 370 is my primary DD (I split time with it and my 240) and I have no problems with its interior space. I am 6'5" and 220 lbs. It is enormous compared to my 240z, but with a little less legroom. I would try to get used to it if it were me in your place, if for no other reason than it's a Z and probably the best one Nissan/Datsun has ever put on the street. Cars like STi's, although cool in their own right, are dime a dozen. This has been my pre-workday 2 cents. |
Maybe you should of thought it through before purchasing a sports car. lol
Anyways, I had a teacher a few years back that was like 6'5" and he owned a Z4. When he told the class that we were all amazed at how he was able to fit that. He seemed very happy with that car and was happy to say he fit in that thing. |
Test drive fail? Impulse buy? Buying it over what you really wanted? OR Nothing can satisfy you in life.

Thanks for the input guys... I think I'll hold off on making brass decesions anytime soon and let the car grow on me more. I don't want to get rid of it, but as someone mentioned, having options right now is fun.
I think that whatever I chose, will be based off the fact that I need more room for other things. The car as it is... And what it is built for... Is fantastic. |
I looked into buying a Z for months... But maybe my "want" was put a little ahead of the practicality sense.
I'll admit it. I don't regret buying the car... Not at all. |
