But thankfully I live in Northern Virginia where I see more Lamborghinis than I do 5.0s. I think I've seen one in the past week (I don't count the v6s, mind you, they are not real cars) while I count 10+ 370Zs on a daily basis. It all depends on where you live, I suppose. Around here GT level (and up) Mustangs are pretty rare.
I count at least 20 Mustangs everyday, plus the Camaros and Challenger. Barely one 370Z a week and a few old 350Zs.

^^^On the nose Jose. I like the mustangs and think the new 5.0s are really nice but this is the main reason I wouldn't buy one.

A 5.0 did that to me, he stopped after that.

GTM Stage 2. Couldn't drive everyday like I wanted to so went from 750 to 515 or so. Have to turn off vdc every time I drove it was a real chore. You should see the guys in the stangs though lol. Frown and slow down.

Haha nice! Yeah I could see you shutting down a lot of folks that think they have an easy kill. Z06s and GTRs even.

I'll probably go with the 525 whp blower in the future and that should be fun. I can't imagine 750 in that Nismo though. That would have been hilariously quick.

No kidding. 525 should do better than the gtr because its so light. Dad thinks im crazy for having that. Cars don't even expect it. No decals or anything.

That area where you guys live is definitely a Mustang hotbed. I guess it's always been different for me up here because they are much less common. If I wanted to fit in I'd buy a Porsche 911. By far NOVA's most popular car.

Yeah, we don't have the income base in this area to support as many high end rides as you do in NoVa.

I saw a blue 5.0 in the grocery store parking lot last weekend with suspension work and wheels. It was hot! That is the first one I had seen up close. Definately a lot of bang for your buck.

I can tell you that eventually the roadster will go FI. Probably a GTM TT kit. No rush though. My "antique" is my fast car.

I don't care if the Mustang 5.0 had a fighter jet's engine under the hood... I'd never buy one. Mustang's just don't do anything for me. The problem with the mustang is that it attracts such a broad spectrum of people...everyone from Soccer moms to chew spitting red necks.

I rented a Mustang when I was in Hawaii and it was the most boring car I'd ever driven... it was the V8 and it was a bore fest.

I'll stick with the Z

Hey M4A1, did you not want to mod your Z so that it could have that low end grunt?

I did all the bolt ons, but low-end grunt in the Z would require some sort of FI setup and it just wasn't worth it (to me).
