Trading in GTR for a 370z

Just the punch of awd and the great ability/adjustability of the car for 0-60 ( and just about everything else for that matter).

As for the warranty, I'm not worried about that on any car that isn't my DD.
Heck the salesman was the one who showed me how to turn it off. Granted he told me not to rev up and to take it ez but he was thinking about selling me the car at that point. Almost worked too.

I suppose. I don't make enough $$ to replace a $20K transmission off the cuff, though, and I don't want my "fun" car sitting for the time it would take me to raise the $$ while I payed a note on a 2-tonne paper-weight.

Absolutely.
I hope I'm not giving the impression that the gtr is the greatest thing on planet earth, I mean I did go w/ the Z. I was just particularly impressed w/ the launch/acceleration of the gtr from a dead stop.

Anyhow op, if this 370 turns out like your 350, I am really looking forward see what u do. Hope u keep us informed

alex, you can't sell your GTR before i get up there to shoot

bet some NAGTROC folk will jump all over your volks if you want to sell them. i understand that it's cheaper to daily drive a Z but seems to me that you will have almost as much in the Z as the GTR by the time you get it set up the way you want it... but it's your decision. either way, i'm sure if you get a Z it will be one of the best looking ones out there since your 350 certainly was

thanks Pat. It's not whether its cheaper or not. It's the FUN that I'm after.

well i can understand that, i know a while ago you were talking about an S5 or something along those lines because the GTR felt numb... considered a 2012 since they say it feels much better to drive? if so, blue?

I was thinking about that. But I can honestly say I gave the GTR a fair chance. It's just not for me. I love the car for what it is, but I need more "driving"...even if it means at a cost of less performance.
