2010 LC2 3K rpm launch Manual or automode any set up switch 0-60 3.5 secs
2011 LC3 3.3k RPM launch Manual mode RRR only 0-60 3.3 secs
2012 LC4 3.5-4K RPM Manual mode RRR only 0-60 2.9 secs ( nissan released a official press release and a video that shows the car being held to 4K rpm and launched with VDC on)

Please find me one shred of paper/pdf/etc. from Nissan that says the GT-R has launch control.

Yes, in 2012 they put wider tires on it and gave it more horsepower.

They further have allowed the engine more free reign when VDC is engauged so that people would stop abusing VDC and so they could hit their target "3.5" second 0-60 time.

3.5 second to 60, did you not read, it is at <3.0
Second, go spend sometime doing the research yourself. Clearly you are here to just bash a car (or brand since you hate on the 370z just as much).

Please refer to the original statement from Nissan stating 3.5 seconds. I think everyone knows about Nissan crowing about their 2012 hitting 60 in less than 3 seconds by now, lol. I was referring to the original car as released by nissan with the promise of 0-60 in 3.5

No, no hate for the 370Z except the low horsepower. Other than that, sick car.

does the OP even have an '09, or are we just talking about a car that has nothing to do with this thread?'

why are we arguing about launch control on a car that the OP has already stated he doesn't want anymore for various reasons.

dude, you've already lost, give it up... MC has more info on GTR's than nissan because that's one of his jobs, just let it go. you were wrong to stir the pot. seems like every thread that mentions a GTR gets some jack@$$ come along and talk about warranty issues and broken transmissions when it's a mute point now

When the man who designed the car says himself that "there is no launch control", you want to dispute that? Is MC the designer? If so, will you issue another statement correcting your previous one?

Can you provide facts of the designer saying the car has no launch control?
