i'd honestly love to see what kind of power the superchargers are putting out with a built motor. i love the idea of a built motor with a supercharger in a Z. having all that power on tap and having it come on nice and smooth. a build similar to bullit's but with SC

been there, done that, its not as fun to drive as a Z, other than in a straight line. It down right wears you out on the tail of the dragon, the steering is so heavy.

I just saw a cadilac (4 door) run 7.80's bone stock in the 1/8th. I have LS motors up for grabs all around me. If there's a retro kit to be had im totally in!! F#*>? my warranty and the FI. Oh my favorite ride to be had. :happydance: And maybe a shot of gas to swarm off the old school Xupra's.!! And if you like the old school stuff like i do there is nothing like seeing an old 240 or 60 with a small block in it. (If its done right by all means)!!

For every one of these that works, there are probably a dozen hack cars. I would just buy a Z06/GT-R instead. You will save money and have a nicer car with resale value and a warranty.

Lol, it sounded to me like 3K shifts and a slow wind to about 35-4500 and then a hit. V8's in light cars are impressive if you're not used to 'em. Especially the LSX series.

65 in a 55 isn't slow. its not fast, but its not slow. tops i go on a 55 mph highway is 69mph unless i'm in a rush, and then i'm always paranoid about getting pulled over so i don't really go much faster than that. i feel like cops are looking for people going 70+, they'd rather write a bigger ticket. if i go 75, i'm going 20mph above the speed limit, and i'll get there about 1 minute earlier. timing lights and stuff in local areas is how i try and make up for lost time. not getting stuck at a few 2 minute lights will save you a lot more time if you were in a rush than going a few mph faster than you would normally be driving on the hwy.
