New Car Break In

The manual says what it says. It is thee authority for break-in for your car. If you go outside of the parameters and something breaks and Nissan thinks you did

The manual says what it says. It is thee authority for break-in for your car. If you go outside of the parameters and something breaks and Nissan thinks you did indeed exceed the parameters for break-in, then guess what? Your warranty claim may and probably will be denied.

If you listen to the people in these forms or other forms, without knowing who they really are because we're in cyberspace, then by all means take their advice. Their advice, if followed, will probably exceed parameters for break-in. See above about warranty claims.

If engines are broke in at the factory and there is no break-in period for cars these days like some people believe, then ask yourself why the manual has a blurb on break-in.

Forum advice in general should be taken with a grain of salt without knowing the qualifications of those offering the advice. IMO, there are very few in this forum worthy of offering good advice but they are here which is a plus for us.
