I just can't see how anyone could be driving safely or responsibly on public roads and have any sort of real oil temperature issues. I've driven fairly hard on public

I just can't see how anyone could be driving safely or responsibly on public roads and have any sort of real oil temperature issues. I've driven fairly hard on public streets, and still never been able to get above 235-240.

You got lucky. Mine hits 240 going 65 around the DC beltway. Responsiably and safely.

*shrug* I don't see how, from what I've experienced. Even in above 100 degree temperatures and 100% humidity.

Consider yourself lucky if you don't see high temps. I for one used to noticed that temps went high going uphill in traffic or even at safe and mature 65-70 mph driving.
