yeah i guess platinum graphite is gone for the Z and this replaces it? if not no way they have 2 colors that close in a line up....

yeah i dunno whats behind the about the blue for the GTR, but i do know its not going to be a heritage bayside blue, its going to be more like the blue thats already on the G37

I figured this would replace the PG, it has too, makes no sense whatsover for there to be two darkish gray/silver colors for the same car.

I'm still skeptical about any blue color on the R35, I jsut don't think it will work with the lines of the car etc, but I will reserve final judgement till I see it in person.

im thinking 40th will be gone instead of pg. prob near the end of the "limited edition" anyways

* One new exterior color: Gun Metallic

Not sure how reliable the source is, but seems legit. I wouldn't imagine they would change too much seeing as the 370 is only going on it's third year.

If this story is true and they are making the 2011 models with gun metallic then I will be pissed. I bought the 40th anniversary because it was limited edition with a special paint color aka different from the rest of the 370zs. I prolly sound wicked spoiled and maybe acting like a lil biatch, but i dont think Nissan would all of a sudden mass produce the gun metallic colors on the 2011 models, it would completely ruin the 2010 40ths appeal. i DONT believe this story

It has been widely rumored for a while now, and it annoys me for completely different reasons.

I agree with the sentiment that the 40th shade should remain unique. It is a special model for one year only, but I think the gun metal will probably be slightly different in shade.

But it annoys me because, if you add in black and white, we're talking about a sixth greyscale paint color: PW, BS, PG, 40th, GM, MB

It's a sports car, it deserves another eye-grabbing shade like an orange or green, or perhaps a nice dark blue to complement Monty Blue, or dare I suggest, that midnight purple that always looks so hot on GTR's.

Just my two pennies.

I'd like that rear view camera that looks OEM.

I would like this as well. Anyone know how difficult this will be?

I agree with every thing you said, even the orange part. I hope you are right about a different shade because the 40th shade should remain unique. I took silver since I could not get green. Is their a pigment shortage at Nissan?
I do like the back-up camera option is a good one. Somebody asked if my Nav had one and I remember saying not actually knowing "Huh, maybe it does? I never think to look forward when I am backing up. You look while I reverse it." Of course it doesn't.

It would be great if they offered bright and vibrant colors. Lord knows I didn't buy a sports car to blend in with every single other car on the road.

On that note, I'd love to have that USB port on my '09
