Exclamation Drivers Seat Right Side Controls Jab into my Leg - Anyone got a Fix??

I've been Test Driving the 2010 370Z Coupe and Roadster and they have the same same Drivers Seat. Anyone feeling the right side of the seat's controls giving you a charlie horse in the outside of your right leg?? I want to buy this car sooooo bad but after an hour of driving it my leg felt like someone had kicked me mid outside quad!

Is there a remedy? Something you folks did to fix this - I'm 6' 210 lbs and hoping there is a fix - it's the only thing holding me back!

Thanks for the help

Did you consider a sport or base model? I'm guessing you are referring to the touring power seat controls, which you won't find in a base or sport without that package.

I had to get in my car to figure out what you were experiencing. The electric seat controls do put a little pressure on your quad, but so little I never noticed it.
Relocation of switches must be possible too, but avoiding touring seats may be best solution.

I'm much bigger than you, OP, and I have a base model. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but I'm not getting stabbed in the leg, either.

Yep, I haven't noticed this issue in my base model at all.

I'm 6' - 185 and I have never noticed this. My nuts get crushe sometimes when I'm hitting the clutch and brake though. I don't like to think of the fix for that problem.

If your really sold on leather seats bit don't like the controll hitting your leg you can have aftermarket leathe installed on the base seats. Some dealerships even offer this. All you need to do is ask.

Just a shot in the dark but I think somewhere between $1200 to $2000. Now you can get itaftermarket too but with the dealer it would be added into the cost of your car and financed.

Installation of Katzkins in my 370 base was about $1300. Got the black perforated leather with red background. They're rich and in my opinion nicer than the Nissan version.

Regarding the crushed nuts issue, I believe a read a disclaimer in the manual that clearly states the the increased testosterone most men experience while driving the Z can cause this problem. The fix involves driving a buick for 30 minutes to return everything back to normal. Or 15 minutes in a ford focus.
