I have come to the opinion that it doesn't matter where something was made, what matters most is the solidity of the design.
For example, the 350Z I found to be a rattle-can when I rode in a friend's. The 370Z, I found to have a billet-solid feel. I doubt the work-ethic in Japan has changed that much. More likely, the 370Z is a stiffer, more mature car. The 2004 vs. 2005 mustang is another example. The 2004 rattled and felt like laffy-taffy. The 2005 felt a LOT! more solid. I doubt that the factory workers all had a change of heart in a few months. Design>country of origin. Last edited by ImportConvert; 01-20-2011 at 04:39 AM. |
