Mercedes powered Z in the future???

why would nissan put a v8 or a turbocharged v6 in the z and have it challenge the corvette? the only thing that will do is cannibalize sales from the gt-r. the z has always been about value for the money and affordable performance. nissan will not increase its price significantly. and without a price increase they won't afford putting a v8 in it. besides, would they really put a v8 when they don't even wanna put an oil cooler in our cars?

I'm thinking they'll mess it up completely and make our current Z's super desirable and therefore expensive for being the last good Z in the lineup
