VDC question.

I was giving someone a ride in my new 2010 Z yesterday & as I was getting on the throttle pretty hard pulling on to the road the engine just quit running for a split second & then picked right back up.

Was this the VDC kicking in as my tires spun a little?

Just dont dont do that when the roads are slick, like after or during rain or snow. Or your gonna regret it.
