I went with 25% and it looks just fine. PLENTY dark without getting any more attention from the cops than I need (you know, more than the usual sports car attention we already draw from them). I dont need them to have a reason to be looking at me for anything other than gaining an appreciation for a nice looking machine. 
I went with 20% on my Mazda and I have to roll the damn windows down to back up because I cant see my side mirrors when its dark...maybe it was the brand of film, but I'm really happy with the 25% on the sides of the Z (back three windows and the eyebrow are 15%, and thats no problem).
