Are you happy with your 370z?
I just wanna know how people feels about there 370z. Is the car reliable and fun, is it worth the price cause i can find it abit pricy compared to other cars.
What is the feeling ppl here have that has owned them for some time now? |

(Everyone must post like yoda)
Good car it is. |
Well for me in Sweden it costs like 50 K so i can find alot cars like this or better, Dodge challenger, Chevy Camaro, mustang, alot of fun.
|
Have you even test drove one before asking other people's opinions?
Plus you're comparing it to cars which are TOTALLY different (American muscle cars vs Japanese sports car) ... hence my question above. |

I love mine but it was lacking something... I couldnt put my finger on it so I called my friends over at GTM and we are now going for the World record first 1000hp+ 370z. this car is one of the best performing cars on the road and on the track! |

Sorry, I can't convince you but I love mine. The best thing is to test drive all the cars your considering then make a decision. You should expect alot of love for the 370z in a 370z forum. Go figure.

Well, i have to try to find one that i can test drive. |
hey swede you're typing MINI incorrectly. it's MINI for the new MINI's and Mini's for the classics.
|
I'm extremely happy with my Z. I cross shopped it with the Evo X and Sti. Evo X has a gas pedal that snaps off if you're worried about quality. Sti I felt did not drive as well as the 370z and the interior quality was not as nice.

I think I am going to trade mine in for a smart car :ugh2: :ugh2: :ugh2:
Talk about power! |

I agree with many who say: 1) Price is good and deals at invoice or below can be had. 2) Very reliable car and mechanically solid. 3) Styling is gorgeous and impressive. 4) Car handles beautifully. However, 1) Paint is very soft and chips very easily. Gotta' buy a clear bra. 2) Many consider the ride somewhat harsh. 3) Much road noise. Test drive and decide for yourself. |
Answering your reliability-related question, Swede: According to CR magazine, Zs fluctuate between "Better than average" and "Much better than average", so go for it, dude! A sweet, reliable vehicle that also performs well...Can't beat that! I own an '04 Touring Coupe that's v-e-r-y reliable; only repair has been the replacement of the driver's side power window motor. And the 370's got an even more powerful engine, and is much cuter, 100 lbs lighter than mine, and yields a couple more MPG!!!

The best part about the Z is driving it! Some things I don't like (rear 3/4 visibility for one), but all is forgiven when hard on the throttle, heel-toe downshifting into a hard corner, blasting out on the other side... Makes me want to be out driving rather than working!
Touring interior is fairly nice, but not up to modern Audi standards. Ride/handling balance is nearly perfect for road use, could be a bit more controlled on the track. A bit noisy, but mostly in a good way - mechanical and honest. You always know what is going on with it. It is NOT a grand touring car, it's really a sports car. Drive = Love! |
Best bang for the buck so far!

The good:
the car loves to be driven hard. It eats corners and has great front end grip nice interior for the price great styling somewhat exclusive great aftermarket developing mods are cheap motor seems to be able to handle boost (good for those of us power junkies) this board the bad: if you drive it hard you need an oil cooler blind spot (I had to get a old person mirror after I ran someone out of their lane) brakes are a little wooden feeling but are getting better now that they are broken in (or I'm just getting used to them) NVH from the drivetrain, the car sounds and feels like it's going to blow when you get close to the redline. Nav not iPhone compatible Bose blows revs hang in s-mode |

The Z has been a great platform and much more to come soon, enjoying every minute in the driver seat.
|
So many have moved on from the 350 and now to the 370Z... That's not just owner loyalty, that's not just hope for improvement over what during its time (350) everyone loved to own and be part of when part of the Z community... You can see some remnant of the Z car ICON across the ages of the Z. And there are not too many cars out there that have tried so to stay true to their roots. Oh sure you can buy a retro car nostalgic of the 70s.. but its ALL Facade...
Is the 370 worth it? I only have one thing to say to a guy who drives a mini, or a MINI... or a MiNi... (no offense) asking 370 owners on a 370 forum to convince you.... Wrap one round your A$$ and see for yourself. There is nothing like the OOOo Ahhh of a Z, especially in the twisties. |

Well, 370z has more power then the mini, but 232 HP in a tiny mini is ALOT of fun. |
A new 370 z Black edition costs me $61 317 in Sweden.
What is the difference between black edition and a regular one? |

so why is the 370 so much more expensive in Europe than the states? The 370 is a great car and I love owning one but if I had to spend 60k on it I think I would go for a porsche or something more along those lines. When the car is 30-40K its a no brainer though the 370 wins everyday.
