Absolutely do not get a yellow 370Z. I want to be among the few who chose this car with this color.

Over in Belgium it's more like 45k VAT for one with full options (orange leather, 19" + GPS, etc.), without VAT I think it's more like 35-37k. |

You're lucky they stopped making the yellows! Great color and even better looking in person! |
Black edition (Europe) is a fully loaded(touring/sport/nav) 6MT with a black exterior, red leather interior, gunmetal wheels 19" Rays, red brake calipers, and 40th anniversary badging

If I could crush up my Z and snort it, I wouldnt sleep for days:happydance:
|
The only complaint I have about mine is the incessant paint chips, the car is amazing in every other facet.
|
I love the Z!!!!!!!!! i'm so happy in every aspect except one...
it gets way too much attention, when I'm driving or standing next to the car, that's a good thing. When I street park it to go somewhere, especially in Manhattan, I feel the worst anxiety of my life. I think it's bad for my health. |
Too pricey...? It is the best sports car on the road at its current price point. The only issue I have is the jackasses who constantly want to one-up me on the road...like they are pissed because they are not driving my car. I constantly get race challenges from drivers of Honda Accords, Toyota Priuses, a Volkswagen beetle, and even 4X4 F250 Pickups trying to burn the back of my neck with their fog lights. I usually don't pay much heed to them, except some are reckless and dangerous just to try to get a rise out of me...

While they'll offer similar performance numbers, none of these cars I would put in the same class. I'm not saying the Z is any better or worse, its just that these aren't cars I would ever look at if I was shopping for a Z. |

Was about to order a BMW 335is for $55k. I realized buying a Nismo for $38k makes me just as HAPPY! Easy on the wallet and don't need all the bells and whistles or the Prestige/Ego of owning a Beamer just yet..

price list please

For me, nothing else is close. Really the looks just put it way out front. Sounds like in the Union BMW or Porsche is the way to go. list models and prices, please |
We have it lucky in the States, cars cost less here then in many other countries. The Z is a lot of car for the money. I love the balance and styling more and more everyday. The only 2 down sides seem to be brake pad compound and the lack of a oil cooler. Both seem to be easy fixes if someone needs them. I'd recommend a 370Z in a heartbeat!

I just bought mine last 09 on the lot. and i hate it the damn thing keeps calling my name drive me,drive me. i can't keep my a// out of it.the only car i miss more is my c5 corvette
|
I would it be happier if modshack was my neighbor! :D

I'm head over heals in-love with my Z..and yes..I only have the base model :) I've done a few small things to it, and it doesn't compare to any other car IMO. I'm just a big Z fan. I liked the Camaros at first but to me, the interior is cheesy. And the Mustang's are too played out to the American publicity. Point blank, the Z is better bang for the buck and plus you wont see them every 5-10 minutes on the road
|
no, not at all!!!!!
|
I love my Z, it makes me smile ever time I drive it! It's fast, handels good and has great brakes. What more could you ask for in this price range?
|
YES!!! Very happy, I drive it every chance I get. ("Fastest beer run ever!" -friend of mine).

I love, love, love everything about my car except for a couple of trivial things.
It gives me wood every time I walk out to it... or look back as I'm walking away from it. Other people can't stop looking at it in admiration. It's a joy to drive. It does the things I ask it it do effortlessly. It feels tights and solid and I feel connected to it when I'm driving it. It can cruise sedately or shred tires and attack corners in anger. It's comfortable. The navigation and stereo are nice. The trivial things I don't like? It had a really bad rattle in the headliner that took me a month and tearing down the headliner 4 times before I finally isolated and insulated the rattle. But that's gone now. The door handles are the Z's version of a stainless steel refrigerator. You have to touch them, so they're always gonna be all fingered up. The trunk could be a couple of inches deeper and the cargo cover could have been placed better, but my storage expectations are skewed being that I came from a Mazdaspeed3. Get one! But not in white. |
How do I feel about my Z? I don't think happy really explains it.
See, I'm a car fanatic. I love cars. Muscle cars, classics, tuners, exotics, etc. Restoring a 1968 dodge charger and driving it (in practically stock condition) is a very far cry from driving the Z. The smells, the super light power steering, and the looks (inside and out) of the Charger throws you back to the late 60s (and early 70s), aka the peak of the muscle car era. After literally sitting at the light trying to gain traction, the strong torque pulls you out of the hole as the engine roars, tires squeal, and air wooshes through the vent window. It's always a treat and puts a smile on my face to get on it in the charger but the Z is quite the opposite. Stepping into the Z you're greeted with a nice, neat and cool looking interior. The clutch goes in and you tap the push-start button and watch the gauges do their fancy movements. The car idles at a slightly higher rpm than normal idle and eventually sidles just under 1k rpm (or so lol). Putting it in gear is relatively easy and the comfortable steering wheel feels smooth and a little lighter than expected. When you're pointed in the right direction and throw it in first, it's invigorating to really see how fast you get off the line in a "little" japanese 6 cylinder compared to the muscular v8 of the Charger... but it's a different feel. It's a rush of excitement that isn't accompanied when you're just tearing down the drag strip but the reality that you're rushing toward the next turn on the track. You see, the Z is different... the Charger gets to the end of the 1/4 mile and it's over. It's gone, the moment has passed and you run back to line it up again or go home. The Z doesn't stop at the 1/4 mile... it's ready for the next turn, the next slide, the next anything. Whether it be drag, autoX, drift, or a serious track, the 370z is ready to do all of those things. It can burn rubber, take turns, kick a good majority of the cars on the roads today in the 1/4 mile (it's extremely close to the Camaro, Challenger, and 2010 and under mustang GT), and most importantly: put a huge smile on my face when I drive it. And about cruising? Sure the Charger looks pretty and can be fun to drive a boat but the Z just seems to slink around in a smooth and refined fashion.. it's a sports car that feels much more expensive than it really is (in my mind at least, however jumbled it may be ) In the end of the day it's not what your car can do on the road. It's what your can do for you. Alright, that was a bit cheesy but it's the truth. Satisifaction with cars is more than just a bunch of numbers magazines came up with... being truly satisified with an automobile is a personal experience and connection that the driver maintains with the vehicle. If the car can't make you smile... sell it. Personally, I love my Z! :driving: |
this is my first Z
if Nissan can keep it up, this wont be my last :) |
