How will i tell if the dealer really replaced my engine or not?

This story sounds a little fishy.......Water in your fuel would cause the engine to stop (no combustion material doh!) long before it would trash an engine. What's the real story?

What's the real story? If you got a bill for $8-10,000 they might have (unnecessarily).....Or not. This is not a warranty item...What was the bill? Insurance scam? __________________ Steal my car!
