Is there a manual trunk release somewhere inside the cockpit, or is the only way to open the trunk to be standing outside the vehicle? Either I'm an oblivious jackwad

Is there a manual trunk release somewhere inside the cockpit, or is the only way to open the trunk to be standing outside the vehicle? Either I'm an oblivious jackwad and missed it in my owner's manual, or I'm an oblivious jackwad for not looking for it when testing the vehicle before purchase. Seems like such a basic thing... To be able to pop the trunk for a passenger who has just exited the vehicle...
Am I missing something really obvious? |

I haven't checked the 370 for this but the 350 had an emergency rear hatch release somewhere in the trunk area. Can't remember exactly where though and I don't know if the 370 has it.

SECONDARY REAR HATCH RELEASE The secondary rear hatch release mechanism allows opening the rear hatch in the event of discharged battery or emergency. The release handle is located under the cargo room floor. To open the rear hatch from the passenger compartment, perform the following procedure. 1. Remove the cargo floor mat. 2. Find the rear hatch release handle *1 as shown in the illustration. 3. Free the release handle that is fixed with velcro. 4. Firmly pull the release handle until the rear hatch releases. |

...and if you push and hold the lock button long enough, the top will go down on the roadster. It's designed to let all of the hot air out of the car before you climb in. Very snazzy!
