Im really amazed how well it took the impact.
good to hear things are scheduled and ready to move forward as soon as you're back. yah, that would kill me too. hahaha.. i remember one time my hobby car long time ago got hit by a shopping cart on a windy day. i tried fixing the ding with all sorts of improper tools.. was up all night pissed off.

next morning i went to the PDR place and within 15 min the guy pushed out the ding and told me i shouldn't have touched the ding cause it distorted the metal and made it that much harder to fix. that's when i decided to take PDR training and buy about $1.5K worth of tools. with the amount of dings i fixed the tools and training paid itself off very quickly. even a ding would keep me up at night on my fun car... can't imaging wat a deer scuff would do. hahahaha.

G2Z- nice shot!! i think you're back in business. hahaha.

thanks Ken! Not sure if I should invest into PDR and training yet. I would love to! But I think the wife thinks I have enough "hobbies" already

thanks for props on photo. Did you see the C6 photo in the DSLR thread? That might be my fave not-my-own shot.... hehe

Today, no Z action... rain today. Been nice all week I guess it's time for some rain...

Yep, rain here too. No roadster action for me. I did drive the Z32TT though. I need to get a POS daily driver. Actually, my son leaves for school in two weeks and can't take his Civic. I may be driving it on days like today. Best it doesn't sit anyway.

Tint looks great g2z!

Thanks Beach...coming from you, it means a lot.

Yes, a POS is a must... even $1000 beater is just fine. Never washed, just change oil. I had that once...a 1993 Ford Ranger rust bucket. Started EVERYtime. Twas awesome.

yah, one would need to be pretty determined to get PDR right. it's not for everone and would need fine motor skills yet lots of forehand strength to push at the exact location under complete control. i stopped doing it on a regular basis ever since getting back to playing piano cause it screwed up my playing at times due to tense muscles. lol

will check out the C6 picts later on. been in my music room all night last night fiddling around with a new music software i installed on my new MBP.

beach - civic is perfect for dd!

i hate taking my G to kid's camp and picking them up afterhours.
worst is having to stop by the supermarket on the way home to pickup something... clean cars are like invitation to get keyed.

Got home Last night from taking a trip to Mammoth Mtn. Finally got pulled over by CHP on the way up. I was ONLY doing 80 in a 65. And i talked him into only giving me a tint ticket...it was my lucky day. Good trip...I recommend stopping by the Mammoth Brewing Co. Fishing sucked while I was there though

Congrats. You are gonna LOVE the tune once you get to drive her in better conditions!! Im amazed how much better it made mine. Revs SO smooth and considerable power gains all the way thru! Switching the maps, although rarely done is just cool. I feel like James Bond or something It made mine feel like a totally different car, ENJOY!

You're absolutely right! Just played a bit and it's a night and day difference.

Wife and I are driving the roadster out into the country tonight to try and catch some of the meteor shower. Beautiful night. Should be a blast.

Questions for you uprevvers...

Does an uprev tune void warranty?

Since I live in a place far far away (star wars song plays now) from any tuned, is it possible to just buy a preprogrammed ecu flash and tune my that way? Btw, mods for me is just an exhaust.

Anytime you tweak the factory ecu you are potentially voiding the warrantee on any and all related parts. That said, I among many others here have UpRev'd our cars w/no ill effects and frankly, if you are going to do alot of mods, then you'll need to tune to make the car safe a/f ratio wise.

If all you have/are doing is a CBE, then absolutely NO need to tune.
