What Modshack did was route fresh air directly to the main inlet of the airbox. All I did was route extra air to the airbox via a hole meant for the airbox resonator. This requires a smaller dia hose (1.5in ID). My original intention was to bring the hose to the front slats of the bumper similar to Modshack's idea. But in the end, I decided that when the car is moving, the air just inside the bumper would be every bit as cold as the air outside (or a negligible difference at most). Pics on previous page.
