but it's just the hatch and roof right? chances are they will get it close enough. it's when you paint one of the side panels of the car it looks very noticable.

I'm only having the hatch done, The only way to see it on the roof is if you get about 2" from it and look at an almost parallel angle to the roof. The hatch is pretty obvious though.

did they say wat may have caused it? could it have been the adhesive from the white protective film they place on the cars priot to shipment?

They aren't sure, but other people have had the problem as well, some are worse than others though. From what i've read, it's called fallout and happens during the painting process. Although, that thing about the protective film sounds plausible too.

Took the car out to run some errands since it was a little over 70ºF. Nice day today since it has been cold, plus I had the day off.

Good luck with the repair. Post before and after photos when you can.

Got a before photo in my wannabe "Build" thread as well as the official GM thread.

An Asian Canuck? I had a feeling (but only because of how soon youre gearing up for winter). Do you speak French too? :icon17:

Today? While going on a leisurely drive to the local dvd rental kiosk, I plugged the aux cable into my iPhone, tuned in some Shiny Toy Guns and before you know it I was turning VDC off. At the next lonely light it was due time (apparently) to launch at 4k, which immediately led to 5, 6, 7 AND 8k RPMs. Ahhh, but the rear end was bucking, the tires were cold, the (SHIFT NOW) indicator was blinkin' and I was well on my way to 70mph in no time!

Shoulda known better than to go with Shiny Toy Guns....it happens to me every time!

(*sigh*)

I love my Z!

Some freeway garbage got stuck in my grill on my way home from work. Saw my oil temp steadily climb up to 240 and decided to pull over.. that's it. :)

Had the pleasure to see the car in person at ZdayZ Car Show this year, Such a beautiful car!

Sucks man, but how much damage was done that you decided to part out?

Because you did a lot of work to your car, however I understand that you probably lost love for the car, GL.
