those shots look great!

I drove from San Antonio, TX to Stafford, Arizona. Tomorrow I plan on hitting up Highway 191 from clifton to alpine. I also got my first ever ticket today doing 90 in an 80, guess it had to happen sooner or later.

Finally got my new 1.4G 50mm lens so I played around with it as much as I could before class, I love how sharp it is and feels (sooo much better than the kit lens). I ended up taking a few shots of the Z, sorry it's a bit dirty!

A bit blurry unfortunately...

Love this angle:

very nice! the closer you get to the Z (the closer you focus) the more you can throw the background out of focus. that front lip goes great on your car:tup:

Alchemy, you will lub the sways, I have Stillen and do not regret the choice. Tip...go for the stiff setting.

Christian, noice 50mm, which brand and how much$? I had a chance to shoot with a 50mm and it's on my list. No worries on the blurry first shot, it's meant to shoot close ups.

IIRC he got this lens, also gives an idea of what it cost: Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G Autofocus Lens 2180 B&H Photo

Hey thanks Skeeterbop, you just sunk me more into debt.....j/k I think there is a Canon 50 mm for around $100 to fit my 50D. Of course no where near the quality of the Nikon.

Ok, so what I did with my Z today:

Drove a few miles to work.

Drove to dinner after work.

Read 11 pages on the 2012 model with oil cooler, just to find out the thread was closed tonight. So kudos to Steve, Red, Ken, Spear...thanks guys I was thinking of 25 row but will go with 19 row from Z1.

Oh...and onzedge...save the date, sometime in Dec I am invading your garage with two 370Z's for Talyor and Colin to install the oil coolers. And I expect to be fed, since I fed them the last couple of days...haha

Was able to fit 2 medium sized luggages in the trunk of the Z. I thought it wouldn't fit, but glad it does. That'll save me form having to ask the GF to drive her Corolla and save me some teasing. Kauai here we come tomorrow!

got hit with road debris on i95 this morning going to work. i found myself behind some trucks and a dumptruck so i switched lanes not to get hit with junk and a moment later i got plowed by a small piece of tire :shakes head:. felt like i was in the matrix for a moment as i watched this thing twirl through the air nailing my hood. left a huge black mark n some small scratches. luckily came off easy enough with a quick detail and some compound.

Nice shots Christian! Your Z flows really well with the Ings + Swift!

Tell me: how's the Swift drop been with regards to the FI cans getting scraped? Have you had any issues?

I was thinking stiff rear setting and something softer in the front to combat the understeer. You have it set to the stiffest in front?? Do you have the newer version with the adjustable front bar? Im looking for the best settings to really balance the car out and make it feel neutral. Maybe SLIGHTLY oversteer.

I would start soft front and stiff rear and see how you like it. It will be easy enough to adjust if you need to.
