Just curious...but have you all ever been sent to the Jiffy Lube section of your Nissan dealership when going in for your 15k Schedule 1 Maintenance?

It isn't worth removing that much clearcoat to achieve the last 10%.

^^^ What you meant to say was "...the guy that is now burried in a shallow grave somewhere outside of town", right?

Good luck pal. I am sure it will be allright.

Beautiful Saturday morning. Getting ready to pull the Z out of the garage and head over to my parents house. My father has decided that his cycling days are over. He has a BMW K1200LT that I used to borrow a couple of times a year. He hasn't started it since last year. I called him up to tell him I would come over to help him get it running so he could show it if he liked. He said "Well, I have decided to get rid of it because I am giving it to you." I was absolutely floored. I think it really makes him happy to be in a position to be able to offer it to me. He told me years ago "When I go, there won't be any money...but you will get some really cool toys." Thanks pop!

Nope, I wish it was a joke but alas, it is not. Here are some pictures, fairly self explanatory as to what happened. The deepest scratches were on the quarter panel where they used it to step up onto the hood and the first foot print on the driver's side of the hood.

^^^ Unbelieveable. I am very sorry that you have to deal with the efffects of dirtbag, lowlife, worthless people who do absolutely bad stuff like this.

Let's all get together, try to find these guys and then apply a bit of justice -- this comes to mind:

It's not my daily driver. I drive it mostly on weekends.

Nope...so sorry to say this...but you're wrong. :shakes head:

My front passenger side wheel has been damaged once again...but this time to no fault of my own! I TOLD the guy that the paint was two weeks fresh and asked him if he had a touch-less tire remover. He stated that he did not, but that the one that they had was brand new machine that would not damage the wheel.

I inspected the wheel before driving away...and damnit....wouldn't you know...it's scratched to Hell once again. So...I have to go back to the dealership next Sat to get this repaired. :shakes head:

I'll post pictures later.

That freakin' blows!!! So sorry to hear. There is only one shop (one tech actually) that I trust with mine. He has taken care of the Work VSXXs on the TT and the Roadster wheels with no damage. Last time he apologized for taking so long "but didn't want to take a chance on scratching them." I told him that was exactly why I kept coming back and he got a big tip! Best of luck with your repair.
