We have 100 degrees and sunny all weekend. Sunday I am likely cruising out to Forestville on the Russian River for some driving and cabin time. Maybe hit the nude beach and try out my 100 - 400 mm zoom (kidding). :icon17:

So you guys are saying, for my next tire purchase, I can just get either 285 or 295's for rears, and 255's for fronts and just mount them directly with no other changes, on my stock 19" Rays?!?!? If so... sweeeeet!

Footloose, what did you mean by get a matching set for the front? You don't like your 255's in front??? Stock is 245, so it looks like you're going 10 over?

Yes you can fit them with no other mods.

I have stock tires in the front. I will be purchasing RE-11 255/35/19's for the fronts in the coming weeks.

are RE11's offered in 255/40/19? then it wouldnt look lifted at all even with stock ride height.

I am not sure where the fascination with bigger tire sizes comes from. Is there a performance advantage? Is it just because the RE-11's don't come in OEM size for the rear? Is it to be able to say "I have big tires"? I am at a loss.

OEM sizes seem like perfect fits to me. I must be missing something. It would not be the first, or the last, time, though.

That 350 is too funny. Its really hard for me to grasp why people do that to their cars. There is nothing cheesier than slapping all those chrome badges and fake air ducts all over:facepalm: Doin your ride up like that is like having a mullet, you may think its cool and looks good but everyone else is laughin at you.

285/35/19's are $30-40 CHEAPER than 275/35/19's:tup:

Also the stock 275's look stretched...... Which look stupid IMHO. The 285's fit great and you do get slightly better traction and also the RE-11's weigh less than the stockers. I like meaty tires.

People with the 305's on stock wheels pay more for the tire, add unneeded weight to the car, and only gain bragging rights to say they have 305's. Also some people just prefer that look, I don't.

I'm not sure. I'll be getting it lowered soon anyways.
