Mr Kenchan,

Yep -- shoot aperature priority on a small (high number) f-stop for maximum depth of field. I spend the afternoon lens shopping. I am decidin between a Sigma 120-400 and Canon 100-400.

I am trying to take my time, perform due-diligence and not make an impulse buy which I almost did. I came home and my wife was smiling at me. I asked what is up and she said "where is the lens?" She was shocked I came home empty handed.

mr.onzedge- thank you for the tip on the f-stop. LOL at mrs.onzedge shocked at you coming home empty handed. :D i have a wishlist saved in my computer...it's just a matter of clicking a few buttons to get that macbook and other goodies... :icon14: i am :excited: but then  yet again if im going to have the time to REALLY get into this hobby. :D hahaha.

this is a full auto mode with CLP... i wanted to see what the camera would decide on its own. the rear quarter is over exposed but came out better than i thought it would in the hot sun today (around 3pm)... btw, never mind the composition yet, i am trying to get the exposure and colors correct along with not shaking the camera, focus, metering, etc. etc. etc. :wtf2:

btw...the other 2 shots were apeture priority mode. i tried several manual shots and they came out okay. i need to play with the EV a tad more...

Mr Kenchan,

Besides some point and shoot digitals I have had, the 7D is my first "real" digital. It makes me feel lame most of the time and I feel like I am learning photography all over again. When I shoot in any of the "auto" modes I can feel the camera mocking me.

Anyway, your photos and car are looking good. I think when I am done getting all the photo stuff I want, I will prbably have as many dollars into it as the 370Z mods.

hahahaha. that must feel werd...

thank you for the beginner's encouragement. im going to need minimum 10K shots to get to the level i would be happy with, i think. and then finally learn that i still suck composition wise and need much more practice how to apply artistry into this new hobby of mine... that's where im kinda concerned... i dont feel like being a used car sales photographer forever, you know. hahaha.

Another set of storms coming through so no motoring this am. I might get a break in the pm, but I have the kids today so the best I can do is the G... ill probably end up taking snaps of my poorman's garage today... :D

Sweet picture KenChan. I am going to crop it and add it to the z slide show on the computer.

I installed the Nismo rims and decals from Mike on friday. Installed three more rows of peg board in the garage to hold all the stuff that i pulled out of the cabinets. Those are now spaces for all the microfibers and wash supplies.
Bought a set of SPC rear camber arms, which will probably be saved for the winter mods.
Started working on the camper on saturday morning after the kids were bugging me about going camping by the river. Almost 8 hours later, we were on the road. Campers are just like boats, a time-vampire and wallet burner. I had the air conditioner completely out, microwave had to come out because of a bad end and the the refrigerator needed work.
The z is a garage queen today while i relax. Hope you all have a safe weekend.

^ GoPro is awesome except it absolutly sucks in low light conditions. It shoots great footage otherwise. My friends and I have some great footage snowboarding up in Vermont and all around using the GoPro. Funny you posted a pic of it, Im bout to slap mine on and take a run down the PA side of the Delaware River.
