I know some of the lips (Ken's for one) requires the removal of that item....so...does that mean that his car may not perform as well??

Hm. I haven't really seen any that required modifying those flaps.I personally wouldn't install one that required that...though I can't see why one would require you to.

found the article that talks about the little flap forward of the front tires.

like i mentioned it's for aerodynamics (reduce drag for fuel economy i guess) but at the same time it can also create lift. removing it would make more sense if you're installing a splitter as splitters create downforce... and will look better too.

Received my used Berk CBE from UPS today. Everything looks to be there and in great shape despite the box being torn open upon delivery.

Hoping to install this at work tonight. Wanted to do the Berk HFCs as well but I'm waiting on gaskets and bolts from Berk.

you dont need to remove them if you want to keep it on. i removed them because aesthetically i didnt like the flap hanging behind the splitter.
