Heat Pouring In

Just because the climate control is off doesnt mean the vents are closed. What you can do is turn the climate control back on then switch to the face vents

Just because the climate control is off doesnt mean the vents are closed. What you can do is turn the climate control back on then switch to the face vents turn it back off and then close the vents.

Just because you have the fan turned off doesn't mean the climate control is off. For the climate control to be in completely off mode you have to also turn the temperature dial to the lowest setting, check the A/C is off and turn the fan switch to off. You will still have air coming in but it will be the outside air temperature.

Not quite...

Fan Off:
Air direct: any
Air Temp: any
In/recylce: recycle

That shuts off outside air, and it won't get hotter or colder (except due to outside factors), and there will be no air movement inside the vehicle, unless induced by the passenger or the driver from either the intake or exhaust ports.
