I test drove the C6 and I have to tell you it's a heck of a car. I don't think the 370Z is meant to be a Corvette. The thing is you can LOAD up a 370Z coupe for what 40k? Out the door at less than 40k? If you load a C6 you're talking 55-60k if it's a DEAL...a no option corvette can be had for 45-48k out the door if you find a great deal...it's all about spending LESS and getting MORE for your money with the 370Z. Plus, comfort wise I loved the 370Z when I FINALLY test drove it a few weeks ago. The Nav and electronics are superior in the 370Z the C6 is a 2005 model and it feels like it. The only thing Corvette has is that big V8, and thats a big deal. I think you have to think where you want your money, not which is better.

This is my daily dispel, I have to fear the corvette's power but agree with all the other advantages. I knew what I was getting into before I bought the 370
and I'm getting used to limited torque, but give me the 5.6L V8 out of the M56 and I would go after a 2006 and up Z51 equiped LS3s. Bob Mallet did it for the Pontiac Solstice, a factory warranted LS3 for 18,000, that would put the cost I paid for my 370 at 47,000, I wonder if an asian tuner could offer that same option with an Infiniti V8. I would pay for it, just think how exclusive the car would be, the sound, torque you may never sell it.

Check out hinson supercars

they put corvette motors in everything from rx7's to s2000's. They could probably stuff one in the Z.

One of the two supercharge solutions for the Z would probably serve you just as well and certainly save you big big coin.
