hmmm Met Life...they more than likely contract out their adjusters as their personal lines book is not their primary focus..

too bad you can't get compensated for the anguish she has caused you. i mean, instead of enjoying your new car, you have to spend time figuring out how to fix it.

In the 8 Months I've been going to college in Florida, my car has been "rubbed" twice at school. no notes, ever. 1st time the paint buffed off, second time it was rubbed straight through to the plastic of the bumper. ******* nobody knows how to drive at my school :/

:bowrofl: That's awesome! Nice to see my handiwork propagating to other forums. Which one was it on? Just out of curiosity.

haha..so wrong..

wishihadnav 05-12-2010 04:28 PM

to the OP...your best bet would be to have this discussion with your ins. agent...hopefully you have one instead of a 1-800 #...he/she's most qualified to answer all your questions..

Yes they are haters but since you asked for the attention by taking 2 spots they are more than happy to give you attention by screwing with the car. I have had 3 very nice cars in the last 10 yrs and I park regular next to others and all and I can actually say I have not had a noticable door ding from cars hitting mine with their doors. Lucky? Probably but Im sure if I always took 2 spots someone would go out of their way to screw with the car.

Then guess what if they damage my car I can get the parking lot surveillance footage find their plate and torch their piece of **** car.

Another question I had, was whether it was worth it. I went to the appraiser yesterday and he is suggesting the side door to be painted, the rear panel to be buffed from dents and painted, a brand new bumper, and also a new tire/rim in the driver rear side. He said most people that make a claim for loss of value have a car with major damage, so im not sure if I should take his word.

I think at the very least I will make a claim with her insurance company. Do i make the claim now or after the work is done on the car?

So she did it on purposing?!? I frickin knew it! Have her thrown in jail and tow the car to the middle of nowhere and have at it with a machine gun.

if they have surveillance and if it sees all areas. My point being sometimes you ask for it even if it is illegal.

once again the OP needs to contact his agent or carrier...getting advise from non-proffessionals on a car forum really doesnt make much sense..every state has different laws and every carrier has different policy language..im not licensed in massachusetts so i can not go into great detail about that states ins. laws but rather recite general ISO formats..
