I'm lovin' the exclusivity! It's amazing we're now into the 3rd model year soon and only 23.5k roughly sold... I am on the roads quite often and I can count

I saw quite a few last summer after I got mine in May. Nowadays I hardly ever see one. I see more M3's and Maseratis.

Highly doubt that. Due to the economy I don't think anyone is hurrying to buy a 2 seater sports car. It's a different time now vs when the 350 was in production. Total 350Zs... 149,625 (03-08 models) taken off my350z. That's a significant difference hence the reason why we see 350's everywhere.

2003..... 36,728
2004..... 30,690
2005..... 27,278
2006..... 24,635
2007..... 18,957
2008..... 10,337

With the way numbers are looking, I wouldn't be surprised if Nissan only sold 8000-9000 Zs for 2011. I honestly wouldn't mind them discontinuing the Z after this generation. It would make all our Zs hold it's value much better.

I would rather have my car go down in value a few thousand dollars more than not being able to get excited about a new Z that I might decide to buy.

There's plenty of other options, Porsche, Corvette, Lotus, GTR are all good as daily drivers. I disliked the 350Z because you couldn't spit without hitting one, I would have never bought one for that reason alone. The 370Z will be even cooler in 8 years when they have been discontinued and only half of the ones sold are still on the road (which means very rare). I will most likely still have mine as a backup car and let the kid's drive it....if they get all A's....maybe.

I've only seen 3 in Cincinnati. One white, one blue and one red. The blue one was exceptionally good looking. I know there are more in the city I just haven't seen them.

Comparing the 370Z numbers with the 350s I don't see how continued production of the car would even be considered profitable or worthwhile. We're not talking high dollar hand built supercars but a pretty basic car that they can't seem to give away.
