At least you should have a reservation for a room and register for the ZdayZ events which if you go for the $60 one you have free dinner every night of the event and a T-Shirt at least.
I doubt that anything is available at Fontana but there are hotels within distance of the Fontana Village. Also you should have road hazard assistance with your car insurance or if you bought a package rom the dealer. GL
