We are serious motorcycle touring people, and were in Robbinsville third week ago. Deal's Gap is open from the store (corner of US 129 & NC 28) north some 11 miles to the turnaround. AND YES, law enforcment is in full force. In reality, it's like riding an 11 mile "DEAD END". No driveway, no local cars and trucks to worry about. This was our most comfortable Dragon ride to date. We have covered this ride some ten times before. There were plenty of Miatas & Mini-Coopers in the area.
