And thats as far as its going to go. Its all hear say, and I say find his azz and whoop it. Nothing wrong with some good ole fashioned fist fighting.

I remember a guy on here a month or so back say he was hit in his apt parking lot and new who did it, filed a police report and nothing came out of it as no one saw it and it couldnt be prove I guess. Never heard about the final outcome of it.

If only you knew the situation in Tulsa - police here don't care unless there's injuries...

Let's face it---it sucks...but its property damage! Cops need to worry about a lot more stuff than that! "Tire slashing" sure isn't on the top of their list of crimes to solve, but there is no point for the owner to "take matters into his own hands" and kick the crap out the guy. It will only lead to him geting an assault charge all for some low-life.

Yup, mature and best way to handle an issue like a tire slashing is to have a police report done (necessary if you want insurance to pay for the new tires) and then get the new tires and be done with it/ move on.

As you mentioned, SMcK23 the cops will put little energy / worry into the pursuit of some mere property damage. Damage like this happens lots and is not given any care/priority by police. Also as you mentioned, if you take matters into his own hands and kick the crap out the guy it will undoubtedly only lead to your getting an assault charge all for some low-life scum bag.. Not to mention, now he will have somebody come by and key your car, etc. As I mentioned in this thread earlier on, get the insurance $ and new tires and forget about it. Of course, if the vandalism on your property was to continue then pressure on the police to pursue the perpetrator would be in order.

Point is, assault on a vehicle isn't the same as assault on a person - on a person you will face a judge at the very least.

The police here won't do anyhting except in the case of injuries AND damn near impervious proof. They're too worried about the gangs on the north side, and truth be told, I'd rather they go after some gang-bangers on the north side, than to deal with a tire-slasher.

The police here will basically tell you "that's what insurance is for"

I'll keep my eyes peeled. That's nuts...

all is good now, ive had new tires on her, and my work (the dealer) tried hooking me up as much as possible with tires.

By no means do i want to be a Ahole but what exactly is the point of the sales guy? What benifit does he do for the dealer or me or my car?

I think I'd be happy living life knowing this guy is probably some nobody who will never be successful in life and will continue to spend twice as much on his car payment as he does on his rent payment and probably lives paycheck to paycheck. Screw him, he's nothing.

Easy way to tell mine...

I have a 370z plate frame
No dealer logos
Fast intentions catback
Very small unrepaired chip on the hood near the passenger headlight

Someone slashes my tires, they're getting shot, because they broke into my house - lol

This makes zero sense.

1st- Where's the pics of your tire damage?

2nd- I sell cars and the sales manager never enters the customer info for a deal. Salesmen always run the formalities, even if the owner of the dealership makes a sale. Even if a sales manager ups and closes a deal, it goes to the salesman for a commission, sales managers will gross on closing, but regardless the salesman still makes coin too...

So in closing, the story just don't make sense?

A guy pissed at a dealership doesnt care who he pisses on as long as it is someone from there.

My point is he says he wouldn't have made any commission. If he sells cars, then he would know that he would still have made commission.
