The Mainstream Z

I don't know if any of you guys have this problem, but a lot of times I get random Z drivers pull up behind me, drive up next to me, give me some dirty look, then accelerate away. I don't know if they're just jealous or what. I mean, if the other person and I initiate eye contact, I'm usually the first to give them a thumbs up, but the majority of these guys seem to despise our new Z's or something. On the other hand, I get a lot of thumbs up from bimmers and other high-end cars; even modded Z's. I think it's just the Z owners that don't know **** about cars...along with jealousy. What do you guys think?

you are not alone. i get this too. there are a few 350's in my complex. i can tell they are jealous. especially since i'm the only one there w/ a 370 so far. reving their engine trying to show off. whatever, they are the ones looking like idiots.

I've only had 2 positive interactions with another Z driver.. The rest are just unaware completely, (sometimes intentionally I think)

Ya I run into more pissy 350 owners than cool ones. But the cool ones really are cool. 300 guys for the most part are cool aswell.

i dont get why they would hate on a 370z owner. I'm pretty sure a lot of people here might have bought 350's but the timing wasn't right etc. its honestly like someone with a base 370 hating on someone who has the rays if they happen to cross paths. No matter how similar people are, they can always find differences to squabble over.

most of the 350's i've seen and interacted with are pretty nice. i usually get a nod or thumbs up from them.

saw a really hot chick in a 350 roadster yesterday, she totally ignored me
