I gotta agree, the 370 isn't for everybody, but I also have to admit some of the 350 guys are either hatin or in denial. I didn't like the 370 at first myself so I can somewhat relate.

He is far from an idiot its called preference, yes he waited to purchase until the 370 came out (like I said in my 1st message he has respect for it and other 350/300/280 guys I know as well). I don't know what he paid for it and just because we like the 370z's lines etc, some people just don't and that's fact.

I have found that about half the 350z's wave back while some have the jealous vibe and just do the look straight ahead because I know my car is cool but damn I wish I had a 370z stare. LMFAO!!! poor guys

I was waving at most Z cars since I got the 370Z. Not many waves back at all so I only wave at 370Z's now.

When I had the STi I got Subaru waves every day.

I wave at all the Z's except the 350's, most of those guys don't seem to give a ****. Although I've had a couple who have waved, and of course I return it.

heres the question, what exactly does the 350 have that the 370 doesnt do better? gone are those ridiculous looking white reflectors on the back bumper, the long ass end, the retarded stabilizer bar that sits so damn close to your seat that you cant lean back, the trunk that can barely fit a motorcycle helmet, the fugly grill, the list goes on gentlemen. Oh and I forgot, 30 more horsepower... 100-150 lbs lighter... shorter wheelbase... wider stance... lower to the ground... SRM... am I forgetting something? C'mon fellas, people that own 350's that refuse to respect the 370 are in denial, and THAT is a fact.

id wave to another 370z, but not sure to any other z's unless it was a classic 240z or something. why? cause i just dont feel the connection between 350z's. 350z's are so ordinary and ordinary non-enthusiast folks drive them all the time. like waving to a civic or something...too many out there.

Ouch. Damn! Yeah, having thought about it. The only waves I've given was a 300ZX TT (obviously worked on) and another 370. I have noticed the hater stares hahaha maybe I should wave to them and see what kind of reaction I get.

My GF and I were having dinner at one of her friends house. Her friends husband has an 03 350. We were comparing and he was definitely feeling the pain so to speak. Or more or less praising the progression the 370 makes over the 350. Sitting in the 350 you can really get a sense of how the interior quality has improved and the overall stance and stature of the 370 is just damn right mean! We had a good chat and shared the same opinion of how usually with a successor there is always SOMETHING that sucks or has been sacrificed. But really, in the 370 everything has been improved. Sure, the looks could be argued, but performance and build quality...You can't argue that.
